CPP has, in its brief history, filled a niche in the Sri Lankan policy formulation process and public debate on issues of national interest. We essentially seek to match technical expertise, competence and knowledge of issues of good governance and national reconciliation, with the political opportunities and space available for positive changes and forward movement in these areas.

CPP seeks to function as a practical ‘Think Tank’ that seeks to pro actively present inputs and options for the formulation of public policy, through a process of research and dialogue. CPP institutionally focuses on three broad areas; namely reconciliation, good governance and humanitarian issues.
